During the 90s, Squaresoft and Enix, now Square Enix, basically ruled my life. Every release was more than a game, they were events. Now, every time I see a headline regarding Square Enix, I know there will be a reason to shake my head. I may be a fool, but I still have some amount of hope in them.

Sony apparently turned down EA’s new subscription service, saying it wasn’t a good value to their consumers. That might be true, I don’t know. In the meantime, Sony’s own Playstation Now service allows you to rent PS3 games where the pricing is higher than a lot of the games themselves. So… you know, good job Sony?
