Happy Halloween! The Outer Worlds is one of the scariest games out there. Why? Because it exaggerates how a capitalistic, corporate ran society would work… but it’s actually believable with how things currently are. I could have just made the second panel a politician.
EA re-branded loot boxes. It worked like a charm, as in everyone thought that it was stupid and then went and bought more.

To someone who doesn’t play games of the sport, many look the same every year. EA went out of there way to make a mini movie that would be viewed by way more than their core audience, revealing exactly where their budget went.

Periodically I end up being away from work or out of town in a situation where I don’t have internet access, its rare but it does happen. I’ll miss just half a day or a day here or there and boom all the big game news I never knew I was waiting to hear suddenly happens, I get back online and the whole world already knows and its become old hat by the time I find out.
So the funny thing was I’ve been gone on a week vacation to the land of no internet and judging by my life up till now, I expected everything, all the news one could hope for would happen in those 7 days.
And yet when I get back I found out it was apparently one of the dullest weeks in gaming. Go figure.
