I beat Mega Man 11 and I was almost sure there was a story, but I’m not sure it made sense. Something about a double gear system and it being dangerous so instead give robots independent A.I. I don’t know, just don’t play Mega Man for the story.

Today is a great day, you might even say its a MIGHTY day, because we get a new Mega Man game! Can’t wait to play MM11.

Honestly, I am okay with all the redesigns. It doesn’t ruin the characters that I knew and loved while growing up. It’s sort of just amazing that a lot of things I loved as a kid are still around. That might make me a Man-Baby… come to think of it, that’s not a bad name for She Ra or He Man’s son child…

Everyone wanted the second coming of Mega Man with Mighty No. 9. I don’t hate the game at all, but people were expecting a 10 when they got a 6. Expectations just sort of ruined any enjoyment people could get. Still, the game could have done a few things here and there to give main character Beck some actual personality.

If you don’t know already, there is a Kickstarter going for a new Toejam & Earl. I must have played the original game over a hundred times thanks to its random world generation. I can’t even look at the characters without getting the music in my head.

Being a huge Mega Man fan my whole life, seeing the announcement for Mighty No.9 brought on so many feelings about games and my past I forgot I had. I’m sure when Mega Man found out the news he had some feelings too, I can only imagine what the folks at Capcom are thinking about how well the Kickstarter is going.
